Windows Oem Vs System Builder? Whats Up With That?

By windows 7 Posted in: windows 7 oem

So Im just a regular person building a computer, and wanted windows 7. I know theres the regular full windows 7, But I also found “system builder” & “OEM” editions. Come someone explain the difference, and tell me, will this still work fine? Can I use this? be detailed, im a noob

OEM versions are the ones that came out before the full system was released, they were used as testers to see if different builds (attempts at have a stable OS) worked or not, they work just as well as the retail version you see in stores now. System builder versions are bound to have more bugs, glitches, etc. since when those were released Windows 7 was in its developmental stage, go with the OEM if you can find it

System builder and OEM are the same thing. So there is no difference. Just install the drivers off your mother board disc and you will be fine. The one you mentioned in your other question will work fine.
