You can control your video and music on popular portable devices including iPad, Nexus One, HTC Hero, Zune, iPod, PSP, Apple TV, iPhone anytime anywhere.
With this powerful converter, you can also convert videos for video editing software like Adobe Premiere, Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, and upload video to YouTube and MySpace to share videos.http://www.aunsoft.com/video-converter/
did u save your movie as a template(saved as editable work-in-progress, but it wont play), or did u export it to a playable format(usually takes hrs to convert depending on the play time). At the end of a successful conversion, you’ll get a ‘success’ message, it should then be ‘playable’.
Hi, sorry it’s long, please read it all. If none of this works add additional details and I will edit this and try to help you further. I have another great tip on videos for xp if you want it.
Here are some things to check on xp first. Second I highly recommend vlc media player or kmplayer, links below. At bottom is a link and step by step instructions for a great codec pack for windows media player. Vlc or kmplayer are much safer than messing with codec packs. See how to properly UNINSTALL kmplayer below also.
That is odd, windows media player seems like it should play anything made from windows movie maker. I have a few things for you to check on xp,
1. Make sure your hardware acceleration for your video drivers is set to full. This happened to me once and It took me forever to figure out why my videos wouln’t play,
click on start – click on control panel and make sure it’s in classic view – click on “display” – click on the last tab over “settings’ – at bottom click on “advanced” – at top find the “troubleshoot” tab and click on it – in troubleshoot make sure the slider is all the way over to “full”. This is for windows xp.
2. It could be this but I doubt it. Have you recently changed your monitor screen resolution size? Sometimes this affects playing videos properly.
3. The last thing I can think of would be a missing codec. Codecs are what allow windows media player to decode different videos. Please be careful when messing with codec packs, sometimes they break things more than help things. You never ever want more than one codec pack at a time or you will have conflicts,
The best codec packs for windows media player are shark007, media player codec pack, Combined community codec pack “cccp”, and k-lite codec pack. I believe cccp and k-lite also include media player classic. Shark007 is my favorite, it can make wmp default for all files.
Two warnings. K-lite has screwed up my computer 3 times now and I will never use it again even though most people here at yahoo recommend it. Second warning is shark007 below does not have a virus, it is a false positive that’s already been submitted to the major antivirus companies for review by the owner shark007.

The best media players are vlc, gom player, kmplayer, media player classic, and mplayer for windows. Below are the 2 players I recommend. Try vlc first, http://www.oldapps.com/VLC_Player.php (The official site for vlc is videolan.org. However, You can get all previous versions of vlc here since the current version is giving people problems. I am on vlc version 1.0.3 without any problems.) This is your best bet, it can be uninstalled normally. I am on xp also.
Vlc can play dvd’s, cd’s, corrupt, broken, incomplete, and files file still downloading even. It can play nearly anything except 3gp and 3g2 files. Vlc is the safest way to go. Don’t be alarmed when vlc changes your file icons to a little orange cone, that’s vlc’s way of associating files to be opened in vlc. (For 3gp and 3g2 files use kmplayer.)
………………………………..…http://download.pandora.tv/?mode=kmp&tab… (Official site for kmplayer. Warning this player is more for advanced users. It is highly advanced with tons of settings and options. A very good player if you take time to go through the settings one by one and change them to you liking. See important info below before uninstalling kmplayer.)http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/ (Official kmplayer help and skin forums, you can probably find newer version here of kmplayer)
If you go with kmplayer and do not like it. Here is how to PROPERLY UNINSTALL it. Failure to uninstall it this way will leave files associated with it after it’s gone.,
Open kmplayer. Right click on it and click on “options”, in the popout list click on preferances. To the left at bottom click on association/capture. At top click on second tab over “association”. In association click the none button. Then click “apply to system”. Close it out and close the player. Now you can simply uninstall it. You can manage file associations here also.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;… (See my answer at the bottom here for tips on managing file associations between these media players, and how to restore them to windows media player)
I Hope this helps you out. If you need further help post additional details and I will try to help you further.
