I’m having a gaming computer built for me and just recently got sent the information on the computer. I told him I wanted a really amazing computer and he sent me info on one he recently built. This is going to cost around $1,749. (not including labor costs)
Is it worth the price? and is it going to be really amazing?

HELL YEA thats a sick gaming computer but a few problems. you might want to upgrade your power supply a 600w will have it running but a 800w will have it running at a cooler constant temp and wont overheat. and you only need one graphics card, not two, unless your running on more than one monitor but even that you should get one graphics card with multi-display probably would be a little better and cheaper (just my opinions but since its already purchased and done, keep it the way it is)
i dono man , i always feel comfortable sticking with Brands like Gateway witch i have owned 2 one laptop one desktop and i loved them , If your looking for a gaming system i would go with a high end Dell
i agree with bigk. you really dont have to spend over 1.7 grand on a gaming comp there are cheaper methods. look in to alien ware. they are really good and some are not too bad price wise. depending on what u get. and the are all gaming comps
So you are spending $1,700 on a new computer blindly?
*facepalm*
owao itz great
It’s an alright PC, I would way maybe $1500 for it max. It would cost you around $1400 to make, and you can get a higher performing one for it.
-FX 8150 doesn’t perform too well. The i5 2500k has nearly double the gaming performance and is cheaper.
-16gb @ 1866 is pointless and overkill.
-The HD 7970 runs cooler, uses less power, and outperforms the GTX 580.
-There are better Corsair PSUs for the same price as the GS, ones that have a stronger +12V.
